Getting Started
Getting up and running with TaxTrace takes a few minutes. You'll need a wallet address (or venue integration) that has tokenized RWA activity on Robinhood Chain. There's no protocol token to buy, and TaxTrace never asks you to deposit funds or sign a transaction.
1. Point at a wallet or venue data
Go to taxtrace.io and provide the wallet address whose on-chain activity you want reported — or, if you're a venue, connect through the multi-tenant API / SDK. TaxTrace indexes activity read-only.
TaxTrace never asks for your seed phrase or private key, never holds funds, and never asks you to sign a swap or any other transaction. See Security & Trust.
2. Choose your cost-basis method
Select FIFO or specific identification (SPEC_ID). TaxTrace applies your method when it builds lot-level dispositions for reporting. See Cost-Basis Methods.
3. Generate filing-grade reports
Pick a tax year and export IRS Form 8949 and Schedule D, plus formats for Koinly, TurboTax, CSV, or JSON. §1091 wash-sale treatment is reflected in the lot-level records. See Reports & Filing.
4. Verify on-chain
Report hashes are Merkle-anchored via the Reporter. Keep the JSON export with your tax records so you (or an auditor) can confirm the report matches the on-chain fingerprint. See Verifying Your Reports.
